So, you may offer or sell your franchise without registering or filing your FDD with the state, provided that you are compliant with the FTC Franchise Rule. Mississippi does prohibit franchisors from terminating or not renewing a franchise agreement without providing the franchisees 90 days’ notice of their decision, except in a few scenarios where notice is not required.
