Andrew Bloom is an Associate at The Franchise Firm, where he helps the firm’s clients with franchise development, compliance, and dispute resolution. He is particularly interested in exploring the intersection of franchising and the creator economy to generate new opportunities for engagement and revenue. Outside of the office, Andrew enjoys keeping up with the latest comedy specials and podcasts.
Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from Cardozo Law School magna cum laude and served on the editorial
board of the Cardozo Arts and Entertainment Law Journal. During law school, he was awarded the Jacob
Burns Medal for exceptional performance in Federal Income Tax. He also worked in Cardozo’s
Filmmakers Legal Clinic, advising independent filmmaker clients as to various issues impacting the
production and distribution of their projects, evaluating long-form contracts, and drafting complex
investment agreements to best protect clients.
Prior to joining The Franchise Firm, Andrew worked for a number of years in the media and
entertainment space, most recently helping to advise leading writers, actors, comedians, and content
creators on all aspects of their careers.
